OUR COVID-19 GUIDELINES

Welcome to Green Waxing and Glow Studio! Here, our top priority is the health and safety of our guests and employees. In accordance with New York State requirements and CDC guidelines for COVID-19, we strictly adhere to the following precautionary measures and policies:

 

PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

  • Studio Access Mask Policy: Masks are required to be worn at all times by employees and clients. If you do not have a mask, we will provide one to you at no additional cost.

  • Employee PPE: Our employees wear a clean uniform, mask, gloves, and face shield at all times, when providing services directly to our guests.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

  • By appointment only: At this time, please note that all services are by scheduled appointment only.

  • Non-essential visitors: Please do not bring family members, friends, children or pets with you to your appointment.  Persons not being serviced will kindly be asked to wait outside of the salon.

  • Physical distancing: We observe social distancing guidelines all time. Spacing between persons at our establishment should be at least six feet, with the exception of staff members providing services to individual clients.

 

HYGIENE, CLEANING, AND DISINFECTION

  • Air purifier: Green Waxing and Glow Studio uses state of the art air purifier technology in our studio.  These air purifiers utilize a medical grade multi-stage air cleaner to remove 99.91% of microscopic particles as small as 0.1 microns in size (Covid-19 measures 0.125 microns) and 99.985% of all other microscopic particles.

  • Hand sanitizer and hand soap available: Hand sanitizer will be readily available in our studio for you to use at all times.

  • CDC and DOH requirements: All surfaces and tools are disinfected and sanitized prior to each service, between clients, and at the end of each shift.  We use disinfectants that are EPA-registered, hospital grade and labeled as bactericidal, virucidal and fungicidal.

  • Workstation and tools: At Green Waxing and Glow Studio we sanitize and disinfect all treatment tables, furniture, tweezers, scissors and all other tools after each and every guest. This has always been and always will be our policy!

 

COVID SCREENING

  • Weekly testing: All employees are tested for COVID-19 once per week.

  • Guests’ health screening: 24hrs prior to your appointment, guests will receive a screening email inquiring about any possible symptoms related to COVID-19. In the event that you are exhibiting symptoms, we ask that you cancel or reschedule your appointment
